As schools across Nebraska, Iowa, and South Dakota gear up for another exciting year, we at Cubby’s want to take a moment to celebrate the incredible impact of our Raise Some Dough program — a heartfelt partnership between Cubby’s, Godfather’s Pizza Express, and the schools that shape our future.

Since its launch in 2018, Raise Some Dough has helped fund everything from classroom celebrations to athletic facilities — all through the power of pizza. And this past quarter was no exception.

In Q2 of 2025, 19 participating Cubby’s locations helped raise a remarkable $11,777.00 for local schools. These dollars are already making a difference in ways both big and small.

In Pender, Nebraska, Superintendent Dr. Jason Dolliver shared that Raise Some Dough funds are contributing to the construction of the new Pendragon Sports Complex — a project that includes a football field, track, softball field, and full infrastructure. Cubby’s contributions are specifically supporting the restroom and concession building, which will be ready just in time for the complex’s first-ever home football game on September 5.

In Gothenburg, Superintendent Dr. Allison Jonas expressed her gratitude for the program, noting that the funds are being used to recognize teachers and staff and support quarterly student celebrations through the district’s Renaissance program. These celebrations foster moments of encouragement, recognition, and school pride — the kind that can leave a lasting mark on a student’s journey.

These stories remind us that Raise Some Dough is about more than just pizza — it’s about partnership, possibility, and pride.

On behalf of everyone at Cubby’s, thank you for your continued partnership. We wish you a safe, happy, and successful school year ahead.

Here’s to another season of learning, growing, and giving back — one slice at a time.
