Cubby’s would like to recognize the Mormon Bridge Road store in Omaha – our August Store of the Month!
The Mormon Bridge store is a neighborhood fixture, named for its proximity to the iconic bridge that connects Nebraska and Iowa over the Missouri River. The team is known for their commitment to getting to know the store’s regular customers and establishing a trusting relationship with each of them.
Under the guidance of manager Matt Albertson, the store has recently incorporated some team-building activities designed to help them focus on their guests and providing an excellent experience for everyone visits their store.
“We want our guests to come back to see us!” said Matt. “We want each visit to our store to be positive, and as a team we are doing everything we can to make that happen.”
And if you didn’t already know it, the Mormon Bridge Road store is known for their daily BBQ! The deli crew has done an excellent job of making sure everything is always prepared fresh daily with adequate inventory for guests.
“A smiling, friendly, familiar face behind the hot case is how we’ve built relationships with several deli guests, said Matt. The neighbors have come to rely on the store’s delicious, daily BBQ!
The store’s location on 48th St. just off I-680 makes it one of the last stops before crossing over to Iowa, or first in Nebraska for those coming from Iowa. In addition to interstate travelers, the store is a convenient stop for construction workers and employees in the area, as well as neighbors in the Ponca Hills area.
