Congratulations to the Redman store, the June Store of the Month!
We are thrilled to honor this store because it is one of the Cubby’s original stores! Our founder, Phill Morrison opened what is now the Redman store in 1979, and it was the first grocery store for Cubby’s.
The store was the only grocery store in the neighborhood when it was originally opened. Located at 42nd & Redman St., the store recently underwent some renovations including a remodeled counter area and new countertops. “Our regular customers noticed these changes and they appreciate our continued investment in the neighborhood,” says Sean Juett, area supervisor for Cubby’s.
“We have four employees who have worked at the Redman store for more than 15 years,” says Juett. “Phil planted the seed years ago when he opened the store, and our team has established wonderful relationships in the area and our neighbors have become so much more than customers.”
We are proud to honor the Redman store as our June Store of the Month. The store has changed over the years. We have evolved from a grocery store to a traditional convenience store with gas, but our focus on the customers and the communities we serve has not changed.
