Eleven Students Receive Stephen Falk Scholarships

Cubby’s Convenience Stores has announced the 11 recipients of a 2008-2009 Stephen Falk Scholarship. The scholarship is awarded annually to deserving students and is available to Cubby’s employees and their children.



The 2008-2009 Stephen Falk Scholarship winners are: Abby Blankenship (Kennard, NE), Andrew Bossard (Tilden, NE), Brianna Gruidel (Papillion, NE), Elizabeth Parker (Omaha, NE), Emily Henderson (Wakefield, NE), Jeanetta Jones (Omaha, NE), Kathryn Peterson (Bennington, NE), Kelly Fitzgerald (Omaha, NE), Kelsey McDermott (Omaha, NE), Melissa Fick (Omaha, NE) and Paige Hofmeister (Iowa City, IA).

Stephen Falk Scholarships were established in 1998 in memory of Stephen Falk, son of Cubby’s co founder Max Falk.

Each scholarship winner will receive $1,000 for costs of career education and since 1998 Cubby’s has awarded $55,000 to deserving college students.
